Mid-Century Dining Tables

I don’t think it would take long as you tour my house or view my Pinterest site to see that I am a fan of Mid-Century Modern furniture.  I worked at West Elm for 5 years and during that period I witnessed the evolution and return of MCM design.  It is entirely possible that Mad Men helped launch this style back into popularity, but who really knows.

This is a start of a segment to introduce Mid-Century furniture into your home.  I am going to begin Dining Tables and continue from there with chairs, buffets, rugs, and how to recreate an entire look for less.  Stay tuned!  For the record, my personal favorite (for the cost conscious) is the Extra Deep Mid-Century Dining Table from West Elm.  While it is not an original Mid-Century piece, the design is superb.  I do highly encourage you to shop local thrift stores, you can generally find vintage pieces that are well maintained and reasonably priced!
